Bites
BREAKFAST:
1 English Muffin served with 1 Tablespoon
of your favorite jam/jelly.
1/2 grapefruit sweetened with no calorie
sweetener, if desired
1 Cup of hot tea or coffee. For
creamer, use the 'Creamora' type creamer (10 calories per spoon)
SNACK:
1 slice of our angelfood cake topped
with 1/4 can of our mixed fruit PLUS 1 Tablespoon of Cool Whip.
LUNCH:
Mama-No-Big-A-Seata!
4 corn tortilla shells warmed in paper
towels in the microwave
1/2 can of vegetarian
OR extra lean chili (stick to no more that
200 calories worth)
2 slices of REAL
cheese - grated or leave sliced (70 calories
per slice)
chopped onion (totally
optional)
hot salsa - as much
as ya like!
Dip each warmed shell
into your favorite salsa. Fill with
a bit of cheese and onion, reserving some
cheese for the topping. Add a bit
more salsa to the naked tops. Pour
on the chili, top with cheese and additional
chopped onion if desired. Heat until
cheese is bubbly in your oven or microwave.
Enjoy with as much
extra salsa as you like. This recipe keeps
very well and may even be made the night
before OR several nights before as they
tend to get even better as the salsa and
chili permeate. Simply heat and eat.
Dessert: Enjoy
1 cup of strawberries sprinkling with a
bit of no calorie sweetener, if desired.
SNACK:
1/2 Grapefruit sprinkled with no calorie
sugar
DINNER:
The Giant's Salad - simply mix the
following:
2 cups of any variety of lettuce
1 tomato
1 dill pickle
1 sliced carrot
1 cup of raw broccoli florets
Serve with 1 Tablespoon of your favorite
salad dressing.
1 slice of lean sandwich meat
Feel free to omit any of the above
items that you don't like. Also, add freely of any of
the following: mushrooms, radishes, raw cauliflower, raw
squash, sprouts, cucumber
Day 6 - Did you enjoy your Fiesta?
And by the way....you know the routine
by now....I must ask, did you get in at
least 10 minutes of walking today?
